Product Shelf Life & Freshness?
Yes. Every DAUNE product containing natural ingredients features a specific expiry date printed on its packaging. Additionally, you will find a Period After Opening (PAO) symbol—a small jar icon—on the label. This indicates how many months the product remains at its peak after being opened. For example, ‘6M’ means the product should be used within six months of opening to ensure maximum freshness and potency.
How Should I Store my DAUNE products?
Our organic formulations are sensitive to heat and light. To ensure maximum shelf life and effectiveness, we recommend indoor storage in a cool area away from windows. For optimal freshness, please maintain a room temperature below 28°C.
Are DAUNE products safe to use during pregnancy?
We understand that many women are cautious about the products they use during pregnancy. While DAUNE formulations are crafted from 100% natural ingredients, we recognize that every pregnancy is unique. To our knowledge, our products do not pose a risk; however, we always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider or qualified medical practitioner before introducing any new botanically rich products into your routine.
Will DAUNE products aggravate sensitive skin?
- While our ingredients are 100% natural, skin sensitivities can be unpredictable. If you have a history of sensitivity, we recommend performing a patch test before full application:
- The Patch Test: Apply a small amount of the product to a discreet area (like the inner forearm or behind the ear). Wait 24 hours to assess your skin’s response.
- The Confirmation: If no reaction occurs, repeat the process on a different area and wait another 24 hours.
- Facial Introduction: If both tests are successful, apply a small amount to your face—using less than you normally would—and gradually increase the amount over several days.
- In the event of a reaction: Discontinue use immediately to allow your skin to recover. If symptoms persist or you are concerned, we suggest consulting a dermatologist. Please also contact us to share your experience; we value your feedback.
